I have come to understand that most of us humans live,operate and see life from within a box of our various conditionings and tend to live in repetitive patterns.
Through this series I invite you to be witness to my conditionings, patterns through my photography. It has been a fascinating journey unearthing and comparing images that I have taken over a decade and across geography. I saw how unknowingly I was drawn to certain emotions, light/shadow play or graphical placement in the images that I took. Sometimes these patterns are subtle, sometimes obvious but they are there for all to see.
This awareness around my un-originality has surprisingly brought a certain sense of relief and freedom. Relief of not having to pressurise myself every time I photograph to be different/original and Freedom to not stick to any such human construct …
