This project was created based off the guidelines given in the Liberty University Intro to Graphic Design course. The main tools which were the focus during this assignment were proximity and alignment. Only two colors were permitted with three different typefaces. These limits allowed me to focus on and thoroughly learn the overall design and layout technique of the project rather than being caught up in the other details. Because of the parameters listed above, I chose a bold and eye catching typeface for a bridal shower in order to clearly convey what the invitation was for. After viewing typical bridal shower invitations, I decided to create the white area in the middle to break up the mint green color and prevent different topics from appearing related.
