In May 2022, DIMAFLOOD began cooperation with an architectural bureau. The collaboration was not very successful, and we parted ways. After this work, there were a lot of interesting developments left, and together with Ilya Kovalenko we made a wonderful video, the music for which was made by Blink Audio.
The idea of the project is to show the work process of an architectural bureau. At the beginning, work with an idea, a drawing. Later, the drawing separates from the flat surface and flies up into the real world. We show how the drawing form is filled with the three main materials that architects work with - metal, glass and stone. Metal creates the frame, glass and stone cover it on the outside. Combining together, these materials created a building on the verge of architecture and art.
Our task was to find a balance between construction and exhibition space, and to create a beautiful project, reflecting the essence of the bureau’s work!
