It was near pitch black dark. I setup my camera on a tripod, got my couple and lighted them with a torch light briefly. Long exposure brought in some lights for the surrounding scene.
This was taken at Bradley Estate in Canton, MA. I placed a speedlight with wireless transceiver behind them on a light stand. It was raining a little and got us those bokeh flares.
In Boston, there is this bridge where you can get a good view of the boston cityscape. It is located right next to the world trade center & boston seaport hotel.
I placed this couple at their spot and instructed each of the kind bridesmaids to keep drawing a letter with their sparkler. Camera was on a tripod for long exposure.
