Campaign and Events- Simply Singlish Event

This project was the second part of another, which created a thematic attraction, Simply Singlish. Singlish is a variety of English spoken in Singapore, combining words from Mandarin, Tamil and Malay. The objective of this project was creating a media event to promote and draw attention to the "Simply Singlish" attraction, which strived to bring more awareness of Singlish to foreigners.

 In order to achieve this, multiple media outlets were invited to create buzz around the event. The media engagement event consists of sneak peeks of the Simply Singlish attraction, allowing guests to look forward to similar activities in the upcoming attraction while not giving away too much information. 
Stickers were specially designed for the event, containing various Singlish phrases that are commonly said. These were meant to be humorous as the campaign took on more of a light-hearted and fun tone. The stickers were a main feature in the stage and entrance designs, and also served as free gifts to guests.

Constructed floor plan based on the measurements provided by Marina Bay Sands Singapore.
The media event, held in the Orchid Ballroom of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel, was able to accommodate around 150 people. This was reflected in the floor plan, ensuring that there was enough space for the crowd to pass through comfortably, as well as having various activities to keep guests entertained. Some activities included photobooths, a buffet spread, and mini game booths based off activities from the attraction.
