We were asked to create two identifications for exhibitions taking place simultaneously at The Arsenal Gallery in Białystok. In both cases, the curator of the exhibitions was Katarzyna Różniak-Szabelska.

ALICJA ROGALSKA. INSTEAD OF SIGHING WE TURN TO SINGING
For an exhibition searching for the relationship between modernity and rural culture, we created a key visual in retro-futuristic aesthetics. We referred to shapes associated with integrated circuits or the visual style found in games like the first edition of Wipeout. Simultaneously, these shapes draw a direct reference to the logo of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management, which is commonly linked to investments in rural areas in Poland.

J/P/K JASANSKÝ POLÁK KARNY
For the exhibition featuring works by two Czech photographers documenting the collections of the Alfons Karny Sculpture Museum in Białystok, composed of rows of photos of stone portraits, we proposed a form referring to the famous poster for the film 'Metropolis', where a human-like figure is cut by rays of light arranged in horizontal strips. Our approach, perversely, also reaching back to early fantasy, was aimed at formally capturing many faces in one shot by arranging various photos from the exhibition within one poster in parallel horizontal strips. Rhythm and multiplicity were important. Just like at the exhibition.

ANNA HULAČOVÁ. ALIENBEES, SAVE US, PLEASE!
Anna Hulačová's exhibition was composed on orange platforms, on which sculptures scattered around the exhibition space create an organic composition of forms reminiscent of monumental sculptures of the Polish People's Republic. Therefore, in one exhibition we have both monumentalism and noticing the tiny things - bees, insects, fossils. The visual language that we prepared to promote the exhibition was supposed to combine this monumentalism, hence the form of the sculpture is always placed centrally. This central composition was to be surrounded by letters-worms assisting her on an orange background shimmering with reflections of light.
