MARCEL BREUER'S CESCA CHAIR TRIBUTE

A tribute to Marcel Breuer's creation:
Cesca chair
Since my adventures as an Architecture student, I carried the BAUHAUS school with me until my final course work as an inspiration along with Brazilian Neoconcretism, and I can't pinpoint exactly how and where I first fell in love with a chair (yes, I love a chair).
Cesca enchanted me at first sight, its materials were different from each other but perfectly decorated in a format that only made me think "who sits on this chair is at risk of falling?", but at that moment in my life I was already falling in love with this skinny thing. So, during my Design course I decided to do an authorial work where I could finally pay homage to this Bauhausian furniture.
I chose to use the same predominant colors in the BAUHAUS identity creations, striving for a more timeless composition that would keep all the posters similar. The trickiest part was making the Rattan threads, but it was fun and the results makes me feel proud of my efforts. So here is a production of three decorative posters containing Cesca's main models.
