The Bravery of Alex

Alex Fighting Final Art
During the climax of the fight on the Cursed Building's rooftop, the humanoid creature activated its domain expansion, trapping Dandara in her tentacles and began absorbing her. As the protagonist was on the brink of death, someone shattered the expansion's barrier from the outside and entered. It was Alex, who, in desperation, rushed to help his business partner. Unfortunately, Alex was unaware of the guaranteed strike that occurred to anyone entering the domain. He managed to save Dandara, but it came at a cost that would forever change the protagonist's life.
Character Design
For the creation of this art, I used an illustration I had made some time ago during the creation of Chapter 2. At that time, I was developing the character and their portrayal, and I drew the character in this position.
To achieve this, I had to use two types of references. One for the body and another for the hand holding the axe. I searched in Facebook groups of artists and on Pinterest, where I found the perfect references for the occasion.

I remember that my main challenge for this art was the perspective the character was. When creating the sketch, I made a proportion error when drawing the face; I needed to pay attention to the character's position. Another challenge was showing the force of the attack in the movement of the clothes, hair and in the facial expression.

After Correction
Creating this art was a lot of fun; I loved every moment and the result. I couldn't use it at the time, but I was sure there would be another opportunity, and there was.
Character Concluded
And there was Alex inside the domain expansion in a courageous act of rescue of the woman he loved.
For the Background, I used exactly the same as the previous art, only adding two PNG images, one of a window and the other of broken glass, all to represent the fissure in the barrier that Alex created from the outside the domain.
Final Art
This chapter had a very sad ending, but it was an honor to create this scene because, in addition to using an art I had made some time ago, I also paid a beautiful tribute to the hero of Chapter 4, Alex.
Check out my Jujutsu Kaisen Fanfic if you haven't already. The link to the blog is on my profile.
Get ready for Chapter 5, which is sensational. November 7th in the best cinemas. Just kidding! This isn't a movie. But it'll be a text full of wonderful arts that I'll post on my blog.

See you there.
XOXO.
