Now in its 14th edition, the EFPA Italia Meeting, the two-day event organised for all professionals in the world of finance, has chosen as its theme for this edition A.I. Alternative Intelligence. Back to the future of the Financial Advisor. Once again this year EFPA renewed its trust in us, asking us to take care of the creative direction of all the communication of the Meeting, which took place at Firenze Fiera on 12 and 13 October 2023.
In developing the image of the event, the concept was to visually translate the theme that was at the heart of the two-day event, i.e. the synergy between human beings and AI as the two protagonists who in the near future will increasingly have to work together in the financial sphere. To do this, we chose to use the language of illustration, in order to create a new visual layout with a modern aesthetic, and to better respond to the contemporary nature of the topic.
The synergy between the human being and AI was synthesised in the theme of machine learning, as the passage of data between the human figure and the machine: these data are forms and flows in continuous movement, and the figure of the financial advisor is a hybrid subject, with an only apparently robotic appearance, but which retains a totally human profile, precisely to represent the need for a new figure that stands between man and technology.
Our role was to take care of the creative direction of all the communication of the event, from the advertising pages to the social networks, from the setting up of the spaces to the scenography of the auditorium.
We were then in charge of creating the various physical supports inside and outside the structure, both to orient visitors in the different areas of the exhibition centre and to communicate the numerous partners present with their stands in the two-day event.
The shapes and flows of the visual came to life on the stage of the large auditorium at Firenze Fiera, introducing the different speakers, both physical and 'artificial', called upon to intervene in the Meeting's busy agenda of speeches: national and international guests, round tables and workshops continued, in some ways, to feed a constantly moving flow of data, in synchrony with the topics, ideas and reflections that sought to define the profile of the new financial advisor.
Representing such a complex and important topic was an equally complex and interesting challenge, but working for EFPA Italia Meeting for another year meant being part of a choral work in continuous synergy with the client, where dialogue and collaboration were the essential ingredients for an effective project and a valuable result.
