Autumnal Palouse
Autumn seems like a second spring in the Palouse: newly sprouted winter wheat produces brush strokes of bright green throughout the rolling landscape. On other hills, the sere stubble of harvested wheat adds swathes of golden color to the Palouse canvas. Even the bare earth of freshly plowed fields produces cool tones that beautifully complement the warm greens and golds.
