Learning 2D Art at SiNTLUCAS

Learning 2D Art at SiNTLUCAS
As part of my education at SiNTLUCAS I was taught how to create 2D art.
My classmates and I had to follow 2D art classes every week where we were taught about different techniques, unique art styles, color theory, rules for designing characters, etc.
Here you can see all of the work I made for these classes that I was told to hand in:
#1 - Big, Medium, Small
For this assignment we had to learn how recognisable characters and scenes are made, one part of this was learning about big, medium and small sized details that when combined together would create a recognisable and unique design.
My classmates and I were tasked with highlighting those big, medium and small sized details from several different characters and scenes, to do this we had to color the big details red, the medium sized details orange and the small sized details yellow.
#2 - Research Artists & Styles
For this assignment we had to look up and analyse the work of three different 2D artists.
My classmates and I were given a list of around 10-20 different 2D artists from around the globe, from which we had to pick three of our favorites, look up their work and analyse their styles and workflows.
I added several lines of text to a bunch of images that I gathered that explained my findings, and I highlighted certain parts that I found to be important by making them bold and coloring them gray, this will be important for the next assignment.
Artist 1: Max Grecke
Artist 2: Xi Ding
Artist 3: Patrick Brown
#3 - Mixing Art Styles & Techniques
For this assignment we had to combine the three highlighted aspects from the previous assignment together and use them in our own 2D art.
Each one of us had to pick a character that we had made last year and create a drawing of it with all three of the aspects that we had highlighted in the previous assignment. If we highlighted an aspect such as: "hard transitions between shadows and highlights" then we had to copy that and use it in our own artwork as well.
