Andy Webb's profile

Fraud of the Rings

A political piece highlighting the many scandals surrounding the International Olympic Committee during the 20th century and beyond.

A huge pile of corruption, doping and bribery over the last 100 years is topped by the Parthenon – a pure and wholesome symbol of true Olympic spirit, which simultaneously acts as a shining beacon, as it conveniently buries the cess pit underneath.

The official Olympic motto "Citius Altius Fortius" ("Higher Faster Stronger") is emblazoned across a red and foreboding sky.

This formed the final piece for my National Diploma in Design (2003).
