I was tasked with looking at the my home, but to look at the things I don't knowtist that much around from building, trees, bins and people.
I was really interested in the human silhouette of mundane life at a park people playing, running, sitting around and walking there dogs, since I see this every day just outside my window. brick and glass were also interesting for mundane feel, the base of all homes, building and walls.
most villages about has a local church which is interesting how all of them are so both similar and unique at the same time. To the phone box in the centre of the village is just normal old and spider infested phone box but actually I haven't seen any other around even in city's.
shattered glass was used a lot in my collage with moss and greenery.
for this fine art project I got real invested in broken bricks and glass which brought me to the guy jumping/falling out of the page.
I did have a problem with cutting the same sized bricks on the with wire cut however I used different sized bocks of wood to act as a partition and reference, I then battered up the foam to create a rough texture and painted.
for the sculptures I used both foam with a hot wire cutter and coloured plastic sheets cut down with a jig saw. the widow was inspired by broken glass but I twisted into the moment of it shattering.
I experimented around with a holes in a canvas laying it with paper.
