As Art Director for Amazon’s main social media platforms, I led a cross-platform campaign for our line of basic household items. To present the items in a manner more attention-grabbing and engaging than a simple ad, I created a spoof on fashion line drops. Common household items became highly-anticipated and unique looks that showcased them being used in elevated, aspirational, and even sartorial ways. Elevating the creative was appropriate for garnering better engagement on the social media best practices for Instagram and TikTok. By getting creative with how we presented everyday items to consumers, we pushed the boundaries of their imaginations as well.
