Tabi izakaya

Tabi is a Japanese gastrobar.
The izakaya team carefully collected furniture and decorative elements bit by bit from flea markets and vintage stores in Kyoto and Tokyo. A project built on nuances and details, no matter what it concerns: furniture, charming dishes, food, drinks. A chef from Japan is in charge of the kitchen. Thoughtful small portions, which are best taken to the table, are specially designed for sharing.
Edible treasures in Japanese style.
We tried to emphasize this unusually scrupulous, thorough and deep process in the formation of the concept of the kitchen and establishment in the identity. Caviar to caviar.  Small images, small typography, small blocks of text, located in a large space, seem to echo thoughtful small portions that naturally impulse curiosity. Tabi are known to be the traditional work shoes and cut of rickshaw socks in Japan, the distinctive footprints of which we used in coasters for sake shot glasses.
