Sciame is one of the most prominent and highly respected construction companies in New York City. Recognized as the builder of choice for the city’s most prestigious, highly designed and technically sophisticated projects, Sciame Construction brings a 38-year history and a proven track record of excellence.
As part of The Workshop — we were responsible to design a coffee table style book showcasing the best of Sciame. It included some case studies but also a presentation of the company and the team behind it. We decided to warm up the brand with the use of Didot as a typeface throughout the book and a "slash" to symbolize the future-forward yet strong thinking of Sciame's founders and company ethos.
Some of their most prestigious projects include, the Exterior Restoration of the Guggenheim Museum, Cooper Union New Academic Building, the Morgan Library & Museum, Central Synagogue, New York City Center and the New Museum of Contemporary Art.
