One of the first questions we asked when creating a trade show app, was if it would be mounted at a kiosk or hand held? The most important part of our job is creating a tool that is effective, which in this case includes being easy for a sales reps to use while talking. And if they are holding an iPad, and facing it outward, and need to tap buttons (upside down)— it’s our job to make it intuitive and easy to do so upside down. Having the ability to have a non-linear experience is also key, especially when the reps are asked questions and need to easily navigate from one section to another.
