The residential tower is a mid-rise building that offers a mixed-use solution integrating retail and residential functions in a harmonious and efficient way, and provides modern and comfortable living spaces for its occupants. The tower is located in Alexandria, a historic and vibrant coastal city that blends ancient and modern cultures. The tower aims to reflect the city’s identity and character, as well as to create a distinctive and attractive landmark in the urban skyline.
The tower overlooks three main streets, offering high visibility and accessibility for both the retail and residential, it consists of a ground floor and 12 upper floors. The ground and first floors are dedicated to retail shops, featuring a variety of local and international brands, the rest of the floors are residential apartments that cater to different needs and preferences of the occupants, while separating the entrances of each function, the entrances are designed to create a sense of arrival and welcoming.
The facade main articulation theme uses a mix of modular, repetitive, and linear elements that create a sense of movement and rhythm. The retail floors have large clear glass facade that create a transparent and inviting facade, and act as a podium serving as a transition between the apartments floors and the street level.
The apartments floor have spacious balconies that offer panoramic views of the city, and also feature
rhythmic pattern of prefabricated modular repetitive rhombus-shaped window frames that add visual interest and contrast to the vertical linear elements creating a dynamic and varied expression. The prefabricated Custom rhombus-shaped window frames are made of GRC, PVC, and glass, and have same size and orientation, so it can be assembled on the construction site in a short period of time.
The tower aims to create a striking and modern contrast to the diverse architecture of the surroundings to act as a landmark that celebrates the identity and the potential of Alexandria, while providing a comfortable and luxurious living experience for its residents.
