On 2 June, Denmark's new Carl Nielsen Museum opens in Odense. The mission has been to create an international, sensual and innovative museum that reflects and communicates the life of the world-famous composer Carl Nielsen and his wild and widely diverse work – the music. We at FUHR STUDIO have been allowed to take part in that mission, and it has been a huge pleasure! Getting to know Carl Nielsen, and then working to translate his identity into a dynamic visual expression. 'The boy who played with dynamite'. Restless, uncompromising, rebellious, sensitive; always in motion between major and minor, major and minor in the land of contrasts. From the mildly romantic to the wildly chaotic.We have worked from the value words pulse, fragments, contrast, passion, curiosity, energy, sound, originality, wildness, movement, alive, vitality.
