Great ideas and stories deserves to be told. The new architectural property Pilar by Skanska, is a result of great collaboration, creative ideas and new environmental standards to follow. Their international promise to build for a better society comes to show in this project – reviving not only a historic building, but also an historic part 

in the city of Oslo.

Powerhouse Pilar combines rehabilitation, new construction, and circular economy - becoming an attractive office building with ambitious climate and environmental goals. The old building's construction is a significant part of the new solution, where they build around, next to, and above the existing building mass. Reuse and recycling are important elements that contribute to a circular building. This is sustainability made visible for everyone, where past and future meets in the same building.

The visual identity and the name builds the story using the construction of pillars around the building, to connect the story, brand and the actual building together. The idea is to use this massive element as something that holds and ties everything together.
