The illustrations, intended for mismatched socks, needed to be bold and simple to render well on a knitted textile.
The design process was inspired by my linocut prints but it started with gouache concepts. I finished them in Adobe Illustrator and prepared for the textile production, with a full factory documentation.

Signed and limited edition, these sock became sought after and are still in use by very many pet parents.
