The Luminary is a 2D top-down hack-and-slash game where the player plays as a hero who has the power of both light and dark. The player's goal is to defeat both light and dark-corrupted enemies to save the planet.

I am the Game Design Lead and the level designer of my team. I am responsible for enhancing the gameplay of an existing game idea the team has selected and designing it in a way that can be prototyped in Unity 2D but at the same time able to be smoothly integrated into the newly built game engine.

Apart from this, I am also charged with the overall level design of the game. Since the vision of the player experience is set to be very combat-focused. The level design has to enhance the overall intense and adrenaline-rushing experience that is set for the player.
