A Trick of the Mind - Visual Novel
Overview:
On A Trick of the Mind, I was the team 2D Artist (which include Environment, GUI, Character Design, Animator and overall all the Art necessary for the Game. My duties included:
+Work with writers on the overall game story and what art should convey the meaning of the endings and choices in a way that should reinforce gameplay and story.
+Creating the background environments (a total of 18 unique backgrounds).
+Creating all the characters in the game (a total of 3 with the creation of 3 unique creatures as well. In this visual novel, we used a renpy program to create lip-syncing for the characters to create a more immersive experienced, that required me to create all sorts of base models for the expressions.
+In charge of the GUI for the game.
+Collaborating closely with the programmers to see the possibility of certain animations that wouldn't require hand drawing motion in other to save production time.
