Approach
This project was the marrying of shape forms and typography through literary themes. My theme chosen was good v.s. Evil, this is connected to the book I picked for the final finish, Good Omens. The large "Omens" in the background represents the oppressive and destructive forces of heaven and hell, showing their desire to bring about the end of the world. It also portrays the foreboding and ever present prophecies of Agnes Nutter throughout the series. The small wheel and comet represent Crowley, Aziraphale, and their small group of allies working to prevent the apocalypse and save human life. It shows them cutting through the "Omens", the wheel showing how they don't have to be the objective, perfect "good" in order to save people, or work towards what's right. The likeness of the comic brings in some of the cosmic themes of the book, as well as draws inspiration from the scene where the character Crowley has to drive through a wall of hellfire with his car on fire in order to race to stop the end of the world.
