For my master degree in Graphic Design I made this project called 'Eyes & Ears'. The main idea behind all this was to redesign certain albums that got released over the past few years. The albums I chose were based on my own personal interest in the music and/or the band or artist behind it. I tried to select an as varied selection of albums to really show off how varied not only music can be, but the visual design behind it as well.

 

Each design is made for the purpose of being released as a LP. Some are gatefold designs, and some are single jackets. But there are a few in here where I tried to go off track a bit and explore what was possible when you're working with a vinyl format. Sometimes size does matter. Throughout this project I tried to create a bridge between how people looked at design for vinyl back in the early years (60s, 70s, 80s) and how our way we have completly different kind of visual language anno. 2014. It was extremely important to me to try and combine these 2 worlds together and create appealing designs that not only look good but also tell a story about the the music it respresents.
