Going Dark
“ΦΙΞ Μαύρη” (Μαύρη means black and stands for dark) is a beer entwined with the Thessaloniki International Fair, as many decades ago it was produced and distributed from the FIX stand exclusively for this special occasion. As part of the entire FIX range revamp, our main design pillars for “ΦΙΞ Μαύρη” were elegance and a conceptual approach.
The new logo maintains the brand's DNA, whereas both the brand name and the iconic FIX rhombus have “grown” while occupying the same space as before. The addition of the brewery's founding date to the logo, further emphasizes the brand's heritage.
In terms of typography, the design approach of the word “ΦΙΞ“ echoes the brand's past while the clean lines and smooth curves of the word “Μαύρη” reflect the beer’s smoothness. The color palette we developed enriched the previous one, drawing inspiration from the beer’s dense, creamy foam.
