Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines 2 Album Artwork

Process
This was my first ever photoshop project so I relied heavily on tutorials and the ai suggested photoshop tools. It was very scary but I found I enjoyed it once I got into the project. I even played the original bloodlines soundtrack and looked at other vampire the masquerade art to get inspiration.

So for this project I used iStock.com to find my photos used for this project. Once I found the images I wanted to use I brought them into my photoshop project. For this project our artboard needed to be 12 by 12 inches, 300dpi/pxi resolution, and use the CMYK color space.

Next I needed to remove the watermarks from the images. To do that I used the lasso tool to select the watermark and some of the surrounding space, then used the generative fill to have the ai generation try to fill the space. It did fairly well so then I merged the generative fill layer with the original photo layer. I repeated this till the watermarks were removed from both images.

Next I removed the background from the image with the two vampires in it by selecting the image and clicking remove background. This kept the two people but got rid of everything else in the photo. I then placed them over the image of the wall where I wanted them. I then used the auto stack tool and suggested blending options photoshop provided to clean up the edges and merge them better. Finally I added the text to the project and aligned it appropriately.
