Well it worked...

I do love a nice walk around Brick Lane anytime of the year, it's got a cool gritty, edgy vibe although slowly becoming much more gentrified.
For me its a haven of cool street art and funky details. I just love the little details you find around here! Who doesn't love some random broccoli stuck on a wall and painted in some funky colours? You need more than one visit here and each time you come back you are guaranteed to find something new. Be it a new piece of graffiti or a random object stuck to a wall!

Here is a series of images from a couple of visits to Spitalfields, Brick Lane area last year (2022)

"Charlie Uzzell Edwards, curator of the Pure Evil Gallery, said that Roa’s intention had been to paint a heron but, after being asked if it was a crane by Bengali people – for whom the crane is a sacred bird – Roa morphed his bird into a crane to best complement its location on the wall of an Indian restaurant"

One of the most popular pieces of art in the Spitalfileds area. Why didn't I take a step to the right?..
