Scenario
The bookstore was impacted by the remodeling of the future student center. This effected the layout and ingress / egress of the store. The existing store directory needed to be updated.
Task
Update the old directory to reflect the addition of the new entrances and exits, the flower shop, general books locations.

Result
The directory is a nice visual representation of what the store offers.
Drawn to scale, each shelf and storage unit is exact. Because of this it proved an invaluable tool used regularly to plan promotional displays, in-store events, loss prevention, sight lines, etc.
4 location dependent versions of the directory were developed and installed at each entrance.
Unfortunately, customers still had issues navigating the store, but it eventually abated after the first academic quarter.
The colors of the directory reflect those of the University of California, blue and gold.
