It is noticible how simple deaths during war no longer impress and do not make the front pages of newspapers. Did 12 more people die today in Kramatorsk? What else is new? We understand the nature of this phenomenon and the laws of literature, journalism, and the market. But in the battle for attention, you increasingly feel like a part of the entertainment industry. And artists who make the reader feel smart, comforted and do not require any action find a larger audience.
