This was my final exam were I had to make a piece about a place I wanted to share. I choose the Norwegian forest or skogen in Norwegian. The final outcome is a small book about all the things you can do in the forest and all the beautiful things to see and be inspired by. My main audience are kids. When I grew up nature had a huge influence. I learned so much from it and some of my best memories. The younger generation today are too focused on technology and can't see all of this. I wanted this book to inspire them, but also their parents to go out and do more with each other.
To keep the book safe, I hand sew a folder to keep the book in. It can also be used to sit on when going on trips in the woods.
All the photos are taken by myself when i have been on hikes, the text is written by me (except the famous Norwegian song lyrics), and I also made the illustrations (expect the one of the troll by the famous Norwegian illustrator Theodor Kittselsen) using my bamboo drawing pad.
