Every year Addepar brings friends, family, and clients to our office to celebrate summer. It is important to stop, recharge, and enjoy each other's company over cold drinks, good food, tasty treats, and fun games. The design team rallies behind this by creating custom prints and t-shirts. It gives us an opportunity to get back into the pantone color books and forget about the black and white brand standards we force ourselves to use (don't get me wrong, we love black and white). We also created a fun animation to loop on the monitors around the office during the event. This year's summer social was complete with a petting zoo, food trucks, human foosball, a dunk tank and caricatures to capture our expressions, complete with an open bar! It was particularly special given our recent Series C funding and the influx of new team members and interns banding our ship.
Huge shout out to the Addepar Operations team, including Ben Matheny, Julie Wu, and Brian Worthge for their hard work to make the event so spectacular.
In addition to the summer shirts and prints that are shared amongst our team and close friends, we wanted to reinstill and rejuvenate the origins the Addepar name and philosophy was built on by creating posters and placing them around the office. The latin phrase, "adde parvum parvo magnus acervus erit" translates to "add a little to a little and you'll get a great amount."
