Amor en Comic Sans
"Love in Comic Sans" is an animated music video that seamlessly merges music and animation. This vibrant project, created exclusively for my band, "Malditas Gaviotas," tells a relatable tale of a love destined for heartbreak. Crafted using Blender's Grease Pencil for 2D animation (even for the typographic part), the video cleverly incorporates the playful Comic Sans font—a symbol of design often criticized for its unconventional aesthetic.
The choice of Comic Sans serves as a metaphor, symbolizing the challenges and inevitable struggle in the depicted romantic relationship. Just as love itself can be messy and imperfect, this font, criticized yet endearing, mirrors the worst possible end for a relationship.
