This woodblock print was created for an undergraduate studio art class. My idea was to incorporate the word “Brainstorm” with related imagery. This was my first ever printmaking assignment, and I chose to challenge myself by creating a design with delicate lines. I wrote the word “Brainstorm” in a way that mimics the details and curvatures of the brain. The lightning and shatter add a chaotic tone and visually represent the idea of “Brainstorm”.
