Jantar Mantar includes renderings of 360 x 360 panoramas from the 18th-century astronomical observatories built in India by Jai Singh II. An immersive "virtual reality" view of these observatories can be seen at the multimedia website www.jantarmantar.org. In this gallery, the horizon of the original panorama is maintained, so that the original scene's cardinal points (north-east-south-west)can be read across the centerline of the image.
