*This project was my farewell to 2022, I begun and completed it in December 2022.
"Almost. It’s a big word. I feel it everywhere. Almost home. Almost happy. Almost changed. Almost, but not quite. Not yet. Soon, to maybe… 2023."
For this project I took a photo from each month of 2022 that I personally took within the timeframe of each month and made an illustration out of it. I wanted the style of those illustrations to be simpler, honest. A version of the truth on a different kind of scrapbook, I didn't want to spend immense amounts of time caring about each detail and the small stuff, my mission was to look at the bigger picture and produce something evoking the feeling of that specific moment that the pictures was snapped
