The English Department of Missouri S&T reached out to create a collaborative project with their sister school, UMSL, and its Senior Art Department. I was invited to be apart of the project, in which a Rolla student would receive my piece on loan and write a poem about the spirit of the work. It was then displayed jointly with the writing within a gallery as an instillation. The beauty of art is that it has no specific medium. The art of writing enhanced the beauty of the sculpture through the eyes of a writer and I am forever grateful to have been a part of this project.
