The Other Half is a TikTok native series that goes behind-the-scenes with artists about how they earn their paychecks. To kickoff each episode, we cooked up a show title sequence using contact sheets of 35mm captured in production, title animation, and hand-drawn accent elements.
We carried the hand-drawn elements, text animation, and shapes into the lower thirds.
When it came down to the brass tacks and communicating some of the more technical facets of the music industry, we riffed off of a dictionary style approach with some hand-drawn accents.
