Climatebook is a digital hub for scientists and the general public promoting updates, research and reports on the climate change, extreme weather phenomena and natural disasters edited by the organisation team as well as other organisations.

Despite the dystopian, negative aftertaste of such content, Climatebook came to life to rationalise the discussion by providing a full spectrum information pool. The logo design takes it from there being a typographical representation of climax and declimax. When in motion, the new wordmark resembles a wave or an animated data chart. For the web interface, we employed a flexible, responsive column layout that - enhanced with parallax scroll behaviour, clean typography, over-saturated earth imagery, bold colours and geometric icons - prioritises content over navigation providing a smooth reading experience.
