A VAE (variational autoencoder) is a generative artificial intelligence algorithm that leverages deep learning to create fresh content, identify abnormalities, and eliminate unwanted interference. It belongs to the category of neural networks capable of both duplicating their input and representing data in latent space. To produce samples, VAE begins by selecting samples from the latent space.
