My foray into the world of comics was rather brief. I loved reading through the clever and heart-felt comics on Instagram, so I wanted to create a comic of my own to document the funny moments my husband and I shared through our marriage. The character of the cat is me. I absolutely adore and identify myself as a cat: I love to take long naps, always wanting attention yet aloof, and like to bend myself in awkward positions when I sleep. My husband, who is a hairy man is shown in the cartoon as a hairless, bald hooman. I made sure to make the representation of our height accurate in the character design.

The comic itself lasted only 3 comics long and is too cringy to post as my work, but I enjoyed the creative process and the adorable characters themselves. I would say, the drawing on the bottom is by far my favorite cartoon of us.
