Details and shadows drawn with a simple charcoal pencil on a canvass are of utmost importance to bring out the reality of any sketch especially a person or a sculpture, and that was emphasized on this sketch I made of one of the most famous Italian artists, Michelangelo's famous sculpture named David.
This sketch was made from my usual jump into the void. It was conceived from nothingness, and grew to a myriad of ideas all derived from colorful memories and emotions. Colors are irrelevant for this case because I believe that it stems from the different imaginative minds of one person to another. I leave it up to you to unite your own creative interpretation of the art.
