Berry Blue Jean

Berry Blue Jean is a cultivated collaboration between fashion and school spirit! This project was made because I wanted to add a little Berry spirit into my game-day outfits while also exploring the art of sewing and up-cycling! This project allowed me to learn how to effectively improvise and also helped to refine my hand-sewing abilities. I will now be able to confidently wear Berry Blue Jean to sporting events and show my school spirit with pride!
I began this project by setting out all the fabric I had to envision the overall goal I wanted to achieve. After this, I moved into an outline of the embellishments I wanted to create by the end of the night. I quickly began to lay out the fabric-mosaic piece I designed for the back of the jacket and sewed it on until everything was in the correct place. By the end of the night, I was able to achieve almost all of the embellishments that were planned!
