BAO LÌ XÌ (2021)
Lì Xì is an important custom during the Lunar New Year, or in Vietnamese Tết, when people give and receive money in a red envelope, as a wish of luck and good things to happen in the year ahead. The initial inspiration sparks from the tradition of gifting and eating fresh fruit during the Tết holidays. Citrus fruits are said to attract wealth and good fortune. The pomelo holds a significant value and is known to bring good luck to the household. Breaking away from tradition, the «Bao Lì Xì» has a modern twist and folds open to resemble a pomelo. The lucky colors in the Year of the Ox are yellow and green. Red represents hope. Suitable for reuse, passing the blessings to the next year.
