The focus of this project was to create some illustrated pages of a literary text addressed to children or adulescents. In the end, it was required to produce a front cover, a page and
a spread, from a book of our own choosing.

“The 13 treasures” from Michelle Harrison is the first book of a trilogy, following the adventures of three teenagers that have the “sixth sense”, meaning the abillity to see fairies.
Since the target audience group are teenagers, using a more abstract and shape-based form of illustration allowed the audience enough visual without forming a defining picture, to interfere with their own imagination.
