AFPDE – Women’s association for
endogenous development and its promotion
AFPDE conduct their activities in the province of South Kivu where war and the abuse of human rights, particularly sexual violence, is still prevalent. The association’s goals are to have the rights of women and children recognized by Congolese law and protect them. AFPDE offers support to victims and promote the development of income generating activities, human rights awareness, health and education.
