For the past couple of weeks I have been debating whether or not to change my personal branding; my old business cards, letterhead and compliments slip reflected the work I had been producing a few years ago, but with my growing interest in hand-lettering it really needed an update.
I took some time to have a look at my work as a whole and noticed that there was a reoccurent theme of feathers throughout my illustrations. I quickly sketched out my first idea, and continued to develop it into the final product.
Even though the letters didn't resemble feathers in the end it still reflected that fluid movement as I combined it with script lettering.
