In 2023 our friends at Launcher were acquired by Vast in order to accelerate growth. To say the least, they outgrew their britches a bit and needed more space to continue growing. Upon the acquisition they took over a large warehouse facility in Long Beach, CA to serve as their future headquarters and an airfield in Mojave, CA to be used as their future testing site. While we did not create the original branding direction, we did help with the development of the visual identity a bit (logo development, color palette, type setting, etc.) and then applied it to various “difficult to paint” surfaces around their facilities located in Long Beach, Hawthorne, & Mojave, California. Additionally, we licensed some of our landscape and astro photography which served as a useful asset to use within their branding.
