Solstice Spices is one of those unique companies that pride themselves on using only pure, organic, unmodified spices for cooking, seasoning and sprinkling on just about any food to make it taste better. The biggest challenge for designing a logo for a "sun" is that suns are probably the most used logo in the history of logos. We really took on this challenge with the idea that we wanted to "reinvent" the sun in a way that hasn't been done before but still making it represent a sun well, as well as showing the diversity of the brand and its products. Did we succeed in this challenge? We hope so. Although we haven't seen a logo like this one, aren't claiming that nowhere in the world exists a sun logo designed in this style, but we feel strongly the design we came up with is an original in the sense it came out of our creative thinktank and, we feel, conveys a message of versatility and diversity.
