The brief was to create and brand a high end restaurant and bar, with a high volume of deliverables.

Tipple Kitchen & Bar is a British restaurant & vodka bar, located in central London, where you can experience some of the finest cuisine made with fresh meats, breads, vegetables, and fruits. The menu is inspired by only the finest ingredients from all over the globe.

In addition to stocking merely the best spirits Tipple has a strong focus on vodka, housing a hand-picked selection of simply the finest and highly distinguished vodkas from all around the world. In addition to having some very special dishes on the menu which also contain these vodkas as an ingredient. The name itself Tipple, is a derivative of ethanol, the key ingredient in vodka.

I wanted to design something which would really emit the elegance and character which Tipple Kitchen & Bar is. Besides the fact that you wouldn’t expect to see anything less from such a restaurant within central London.

Nothing signifies luxury and sophistication better than monochromatic colours, with this in mind I kept to using a strict white on black colour scheme for most of the deliverables.

The use of black glassware was a crucial part of the deliverables as I intended to make sure that the branding would be applied to all the key elements which create that fine dining experience. Keeping the design of the logo relatively simple and minimal was in correspondence to this, as anything too overwhelming would take away from the sense of elegance and luxury.
